CALMAST https://www.calmast.ie/, based in the South East Technological University (SETU) Waterford, Ireland will co-ordinate and deliver the South East Engineering Festival across the five counties of Carlow, Kilkenny, Tipperary, Waterford and Wexford in Ireland to celebrate Engineers Week.
A packed schedule of talks, presentations and workshops will be held throughout the week of March 02nd until March 08th 2024.
The Irish Science Teachers Association will hold their annual conference on March 02nd in SETU Waterford, followed by events taking place on campuses in SETU Carlow and SETU Waterford for primary, post-primary and University students across the entire week.
The Department of Applied Robotics will feature prominently with workshops throughout the week, as well as Lego Engineering sessions, Engineering quizzes and an exhibition of Engineering literature and resources. Careers Events will be held throughout the region for post-primary pupils highlighting the breadth of professions in STEM. Women in Engineering will also be celebrated. Our partners in Waterford, Wexford, Kilkenny, Tipperary and Carlow County Councils and Library Services are keen supporters of Engineers Week and are offering a suite of events to support the week including workshops, speakers and STEM Storytime for the smaller people.
